Pre-Sales Network Engineer
Location: Boston, MA
Salary: $90,000 to 110,000 + Bonus
International company is seeking, IMMEDIATELY, a Network Engineer / Sales Engineer with experience in serving Enterprise solutions and Fortune 500 customers.
Job Description:
Going after global Enterprise customers. Looking for a Network Engineer in telecommunications to assist with Pre-Sales proposal, network design, engineering, who has worked with big box Global Fortune 500 accounts and can bring new business to our growing Cloud, Infrastructure, IT organization. Someone with a strong understanding of Convergence, Network Infrastructure, MPLS, VoIP who can interact at the CIO, VP of IT level.
Background Qualifications:
- Senior Network Engineer, Network Architect in a Telecommunications carrier / service provider network
- Familiar with routing/switching network infrastructure from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, or Foundry
- Experience with routing protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, OSPF in a national/global infrastructure
- Experience with Telecommunications technologies working with various types of circuits and equipment (DSx, OCx, MUX's, CSU/DSU, etc.)
- Experience with IPv6 IP addressing and DNS, VoIP/QoS
- Preferred experience in ISP and/or telecommunications companies
- Preferred experience with cloud computing architectures – IAS, SAS, SaaS, etc.
- Cisco CCNA, CCDA, CCDP, or CCNP desired
- Four year college/trade education
Compensation Information:
- Competitive compensation includes base salary. 90-110K + Bonus earning potential, long-term career growth, excellent benefits
