MIS Manager (Oahu, HI)
Location: Honolulu, HI
Salary: $42,000+
Job Description:
Installs
workstations and network hardware and equipment.
Provides installation and support for all LAN/WAN applications, including but
not limited to:
Active Directory, Veritas Backup Exec, Exchange, Citrix, Blackberry BES, SQL,
IIS, IAS, Windows Servers,Unix, Solaris, Corporate VoIP Phones, VMWare, Altigen
ACD, Firewalls, Help Desk.
Performs programming assignments as needed.
Assists in troubleshooting and training corporate clients and internal staff on
hardware/software/config.
Responsible for enforcement of information system security policies and
procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Associates degree, Information Technology/Computer Science or
similar course of study or related experience.
3+ years experience
Experience with Windows and UNIX-based systems including troubleshooting
hardware and software application problems.
Experience in working with advanced computer systems and network operating
systems Microsoft Windows 2000, Microsoft Windows XP and UNIX, Solaris, BSD,
Linux.
Experience with network protocols (IPX/SPX, TCP/IP), hardware components
(FastEthernet, 100- BaseT).
Network +, A+, MSCE, Cisco, and/or other industry certifications a plus.
Compensation Information:
ยท $40,000 - $45,000 / year + full benefits, vacation, holidays
